  We arrived in a great mood and were ready for our pre-booked lunch and massages. Unfortunately, they had power outage and they don’t have a generator or any alternative power supply. We were sad but understanding as it was not their fault. However, the customer service manager was very rude and she didn’t try to help us at all. She offers with sarcasm to sing the Happy BD song for my husband, as our visit was my gift for my husband’s 50th BD. Anyway, lunch and massages were cancelled but we told that we would have our room. We went to the nearest town to eat something , then came back to the resort. This time we were told that we’re not going to have our room as well unless power is back. Instead of telling us at the first place that everything is cancelled they made us drive around and waste time. We drove 5 hours from Ottawa and couldn’t afford to don’t have a room for the night. The resort is located in the middle of nowhere and if power wasn’t back we would be sleeping in our car. We decided to cancel it all and drive back to Ottawa. 10 hours of driving for my husband’s BD… We would never come back and we don’t suggest other people to plan any special events with this unreliable resort.

  The staff at Eganridge were very accommodating, the rooms were very nice and clean and dining was fantastic. The staff left a blanket with a doggie prayer for our fur baby. We will definitely reccommed Eganridge Resort to my friends and family.

  Beautiful location, my family and I stayed at one of their cottages. The patio looks out onto breathtaking green fields followed by the lake. Amazing to walk and enjoy the summer. Staff is very friendly though they did forget the extra linens which were included in the extra bed we paid for. The cottages do have a little outdated fittings but are pretty spacious for a party of 6.

  My fiance and I decided to get out of the city to get massages and decided to go to Eganridge, which ended up being a very weird and awkward experience. We understand that it was low season, so many of the amenities were probably inactive, but I wouldn't necessarily call this a spa. With no place to actually relax, we waited on each other's massages in a small room, where you can boil your own water for tea adjacent to the main entrance of the spa. Our actual massages were awkward, with our RMT barely applying any pressure to our backs. We both have had several massages in the past, and this massage felt like it was this person's first time ever giving a massage. There was a weird smell in the room and we both left feeling worse than when we had come.
  
  Overall, the facilities were clean. Very, very basic but clean. Everything was a bit pricey for what it was, and while the natural landscape was beautiful, the experience we had at the spa was awkward and we will never return.

  Nice resort on the lake with beautiful scenic view and golf course. Service was professional with tasty food in house dinning, pub with continental breakfast.
